Three Harlan State Police Troopers put on administrative duty after shooting and killing a suspect, have been cleared of any wrongdoing after an internal affairs investigation.
Police say troopers Jeremy Lee, George Howard, and Lieutenant PJ Burnett shot and killed 78 year old Errol B. Turner of Pineville in early October at his house, after he allegedly threatened neighbors with a shotgun and fired at police.
Police say all three are back at work now after the investigation, which is standard state police procedure after any shooting.
