Charges Dropped Against Railroad Killer
Six months after Angel Maturnio Resendiz was executed in Texas, his case in Kentucky was was officially dropped.
It was nearly ten years ago when Angel Maturino Resendiz beat to death UK student Chris Meier and nearly killed his girlfriend, Holly Dunn.
Since Resendiz has been executed, Commonwealth Attorney Ray Larson has dropped the charges, with permission from both victim's families . Larson says he hopes it closes another chapter in the case.
