A judge in Whitley County says a man charged with rape and sexual abuse will be able to stand trial.
William Rick Burdine is accused of raping a woman at a welcome center off Interstate 75.
He had a psychiatric evaluation and the Corbin Times Tribune reports that he has been ruled competent.
Burdine has spent two years in jail so far after his arrest in northern Kentucky.
