Deadly Accident in Rockcastle County
Police are investigating a deadly accident in Rockcastle County.
It happened Friday night on U.S. 461 near Rockcastle County High School. That's where police say Charles D. Adams, 73 years of age, was hit by an oncoming van, while crossing the road.
State Police say Jeremy W. Howard, 27 years of age, was driving his Plymouth Voyager when he struck Adams. Adams was later pronounced dead at the Rockcastle County Hospital .
Police are still investigating the fatal crash, but they have said that alcohol and drugs were factors in the accident.
