Dine & Dash Turns Violent

A violent incident Monday night at Lexington restaurant leads to two arrests.

Police call it a dine and dash that turned dangerous. It all started at the China Buffet in the shopping center at the corner of Richmond Road and Man O’War when three men walked out without paying.

The manager followed the men out of the restaurant that’s when the violence started. The manager says one of the men grabbed her and threw her down, then threw a liquor bottle which hit her in the leg.

A customer called police. When the arrived the suspects took off.
Two of the three men were arrested after foot chase, the third got away.

The manager was not seriously hurt.

She told us the mother of one of the suspect’s called and apologized and said she would be for the meals.
