A man accused of poaching two elk in Perry County pleaded not guilty Monday.
A pre-trial hearing for 33-year old Alan Combs of Hazard was set for January 9th.
Combs and 32-year old Anthony Fugate of Viper are accused of killing two bull elk last month on the Old Lost Mountain Strip Mine.
Fugate is scheduled to be arraigned next week.
