Thieves Target Shoppers in Parking Lots

The hustle and bustle of the season could make you a target of a crime.

Lexington Police received several reports this weekend from shoppers, who said they had their bags stolen while walking to their cars.
No injuries were reported.

Police say to always be aware of your surroundings when leaving a store. They also advise not to leave your shopping bags in clear view if you leave them inside a car.
