Teen accidentally shot by friend
Officials in Southern Kentucky are calling it a terrible accident, a teenager, accidentally shot by his friend, with one of their parents guns.

Officials in Southern Kentucky are calling it a terrible accident, a teenager, accidentally shot by his friend, with one of their parents guns.
It happened in Canada Town in Whitley County Wednesday afternoon.
Police say a 14 and 15-year old were playing together, when one accidentally shot the other in the stomach.
The teen was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he underwent surgery and is in critical condition.
No charges are expected to be filed in the incident, but officials stress this is yet another example of the importance of stressing gun safety to children.

I am speaking for the family of the victim in this unfortunate accident. We would like to thank everyone who has prayed for my brothers recovery. Also, everyone who has supported our family during this life changing situation,we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We just ask that everyone pray for the continued physical, emotional, and spiritual recovery for all involved. FYI: Our family thanks God daily for my brothers survival. We would like everyone to use this situation as an example and learning experience. We would not want this situation to happen to anyone's family. Not to be defensive about the situation but, we all have opinions and the right to voice them, right? People who do not know details of the situation and are confused about how an accident like this can occur, it is for a reason. Frankly, it's none of your business.

I say put us all in bubble wrap suites safety suits with helments and take all guns and sharp objects and get the eye in the sky to police us all and only drink liquids not solid foods in case you choke it could happen I almost choked to death once on a taco shell in my neck I stoped the car and jumped up and down on side the highway cars passing looking at me it was a hard shell taco, would not go up or down and I could not breath, I thought I was going to have to choke my own neck with my hands to break it up so it would go down , Finally it went down I could feel it cut on its way down, well I got teeth like a Jack O Lantern snaggel toothed and a taco lover its been soft shell ever since for me, it was on the side of the highway in bright daylight people thought i was dancing I guess I almost died for real, On a peice of taco shell..I eat fast to comes from being poor as a child you think someone gonna steel your food I guess my saying to me slow down nut!!! when I eat safty first

I know the boy who got shot, and is one of my friends that i've known since preschool. I'm devistated that this had to happen to him, but i know in my heart he will be ok. Please pray for him and his family.
