Gas Station Is Robbed For The Second Time In A Week

An Eastern Kentucky gas station robbed for the second time in a week.

Police say they suspect, the same man who robbed the BP station off Highway 119 in Coldiron a week ago, may have come back again Wednesday morning with some help.

Just before one Wednesday morning, police say two men wearing ski masks and dark clothing, one carrying a pick ax, came into the BP and took cash from the clerk.

Just last Wednesday, police say a man robbed this same BP at the same time of the morning.

"Both robberies ski masks were used, robbed at the same time of the day," said Walt Meachum with the Kentucky State Police.

Police say one of the men may be driving a dark colored Chevy S-10 pickup truck.

So far police say they haven't been able to narrow in on any particular suspects and they could use your help. They ask for anybody with information to call Kentucky State Police at 606-573-3131.
