Lawsuit Could Be Dismissed

A lawsuit asking to negate election results in the City of Allen might be dismissed.

Last month, Attorney Ned Pillersdorf filed a suit on behalf of Jerome Kinzer and Pauline Bentley, two losing candidates. The suit said 81 people cast a ballot in the city races but says the city only has 69 registered voters. The lawsuit wanted to negate the election results for mayor, city commissioners and the question whether the city should dissolve, which didn't pass.

Pillersdorf says the judge told him he plans to dismiss the lawsuit.
