A former police chief in McKee who resigned earlier this year has died.
Robbie Peters died Monday at his Jackson County home of natural causes.
He was 42 years old.
The Jackson County Times reports Peters' death comes after new police chief Arthur Adams and patrolman Kevin Berry were sworn in earlier this month.
