One person is dead after a boating accident in Grant County Friday.

A water skier died Friday afternoon at Williamstown Lake.

The man had just dipped into the water and was waiting for his friends to circle around and pick him up, when a second boat struck him.

The Kentucky State Police and Division of Fish and Wildlife are investigating.

The victim's name has not been released.
