Kentucky officials have organized a prayer service, set to begin at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Capitol Rotunda in Frankfort.
There is also a book of condolences in the Rotunda for people to sign. It will be there until Wednesday.
Governor Fletcher plans to declare Tuesday a day of remembrance in Kentucky, in honor of President Ford. State offices will remain open, because January 2 is the mandated start of the 2007 Legislative Session.
