Eastern Kentucky State Representative Will Run For Treasurer

Hazard State Representative Brandon Smith says he wants to be the next Kentucky State Treasurer.

Smith entered the race Thursday.

The only other person to register so far is Frankfort Democrat Patrick Dunmire.

Smith is a republican who just won re-election by a slim margin.

The current state treasurer, Jonathan Miller, is running for governor.
