Rape Suspect Turns Himself In To Police

A man wanted in connection with a Lexington rape turns himself into police.

His arrest comes after a woman reported her terrifying ordeal.

Police say the victim befriended two other women at the Grapevine, a bar in the Tates Creek Center, early Wednesday morning.

Police say the victim left the bar with those women in her car, but she rode in the backseat. Police say the women stopped on Winchester Road and got out of the car.

At that point, police say a man with a gun robbed the victim and left

After that, police say another man, who they identified as Emanuel Fischer, got into the car and drove the victim to Mousas Way where he raped her.

Fischer now stands charged with rape, sodomy and kidnapping.

Police are still looking for the man who they say robbed the victim at gunpoint.
