A Whitley County Judge says a man is competent to stand trial for assaulting his grandparents last summer.
Tyler Pollitte, of Harlan, is facing two counts of attempted murder for the June 22nd attack in his grandparents' home.
The Corbin Tribune reports it happened in Canadatown in Whitley County.
Police said Pollitte stabbed his grandfather Wayne Gilbert, then assaulted his grandmother Helen Gilbert on the front porch.
