Another Republican Enters State Treasurer's Race

Another republican is running for state treasurer.

Paintsville native Melinda Wheeler entered the race Monday.

Wheeler now lives in Georgetown.

So far, Wheeler will face State Representative Brandon Smith of Hazard on the Republican side.

One democrat, Patrick Dunmire of Frankfort, is also running.
