A big bust in one Kentucky town lands a Boyle County VFW Post in hot water.
It comes after two deadly accidents in which, police say, they found the post was selling alcohol illegally.
Last night, undercover agents with Kentucky State Police were able to purchase alcohol at the post.
Quickly, they obtained a search warrant and confiscated nearly 500 cans of beer, 27 bottles of liquor and almost 17 hundred dollars in cash.
Those running the operation were ticketed for illegally selling alcohol, which is a misdemeanor. However, Kentucky State Police say the VFW post was likely a source where drivers involved in two deadly crashes got their alcohol.
