The Commonwealth's Attorney in Magoffin County has stepped down from the Brandy Rowe murder case because of a conflict of interest.

Perry County Commonwealth's Attorney, Teresa Combs Reed, tells us she will now be handling the case.

Brandy Rowe went missing last month but police charged three people in connection with her murder before her body was even found.

Rowe's body was eventually discovered in a creek in Breathitt County.
