Wet/Dry Vote Is Set For Another City

A wet-dry vote is set for April 17th in Whitesburg.

The Mountain Eagle reports residents will vote on the question of whether the sale of alcoholic beverages should be permitted in restaurants that seat at least one hundred people.

If approved, Whitesburg would join 20 other cities in Kentucky to approve restaurant only alcohol sales since 2000.

Only four restaurants in Whitesburg would qualify to sell alcohol right now.
