Kentucky college students could catch a break when it comes to student loans.
Democrat Steve Beshear is recommending a plan that would forgive loans for students who stay and work in Kentucky after graduating.
A year of the loan would be forgiven for every year the student works in Kentucky.
Beshear says funding his program hinges on passing a constitutional amendment to allow casino gambling at racetracks.
