Two Car Crashes In Same Location

Police say at least two serious car accidents have occurred in Lincoln county this afternoon.

We understand the wrecks happened on U.S. 27 at the intersection of Kentucky 501, near Waynesburg in the southern part of the county.

We're told two helicopters have been called to the scene along with several ambulances.

We're also told emergency crews have brought in the jaws of life.

At this time U.S. 27 is closed and dispatchers tell us it will be awhile before it's cleaned up.

We have several crews headed to the scene and will bring you new information the minute we get it.
