Sheriff Is Sworn Into Office

There's a new sheriff in town in McCreary County and now there's yet another challenge.

Gus Skinner, who won as a write-in candidate, has been officially sworn into office.

Skinner was declared the winner over Randy Waters by Judge David Tapp who said ballots with only Skinner's first name should be counted.

Now Waters, who held office for a few weeks, is asking the Kentucky Court of Appeals to reverse the decision.
