Investigation Could Be Targeting Former Judge Executive

An investigation in Lawrence County may be targeting the former judge executive and his staff.

The current judge executive, David Compton, says important information was missing from courthouse computers when he took office back in November.

The county attorney says he's contacted police and hopes an investigation will lead to answers.

Former Judge Executive Phil Carter says he welcomes an investigation, but says it will be a waste of time.

He says he did not wipe anything off computers except his personal e-mails.
