Dozens of inmates are now being held in the new Harlan County Jail.
The Harlan County Judge Executive says the inmates were moved from the old jail after several changes had to be made in the facility to meet state standards.
The judge says the jail can house dozens more inmates than the old jail and it should also save the county money.
