A western Kentucky man has been charged with animal cruelty after allegedly chaining a dog to the back of his vehicle and dragging it to death.
Todd Bowlds of Owensboro was arrested at his home last night and
charged with cruelty to animals in the second degree, a misdemeanor.
The Daviess County Sheriff's Office said the 34-year-old Bowlds tied a pit bull to the back of a vehicle and dragged the dog a half-mile. Bowlds then allegedly turned around and drove back with the dog still chained to the vehicle.
