Kentucky lawmakers only have a few days left to finish up work this year in Frankfort.
Today the state senate approved 25 million dollars in funding for communities near the Wolf Creek Dam.
The senate also approved nearly 40 million dollars in upgrades to the Kentucky Horse Park in time for the 2010 World Equestrian Games.
Both houses approved increases to the minimum wage and improvements to mine safety.
Those bills now go to the governor.
Federal lawmakers are also considering a hike in the minimum wage.
