Confessed Killer Sentenced

It was sentencing day on Tuesday for the Bourbon County man who admitted he killed his girlfriend out of jealousy.

William Oliver pleaded guilty to murder last month.

He says he stabbed 19-year-old Jennifer Toadvine and put her body under a woodpile in 2004. Oliver says he was mad because he says Toadvine was cheating on him.

Today in court, a judge sentenced him to 30 years in prison without the possibility of parole.

Toady in court, Toadvine's mother confronted Oliver. She says he never cared about her daughter, he only cared about controlling her.

Oliver didn't say anything today in court, even when he was addressed by Toadvine's parents.
