Young Drivers Face New Set Of Rules

Posted: Tue 12:09 AM, Apr 03, 2007

Young drivers in Kentucky are facing a new set of rules.

Under the new system, if you were issued a permit after October 1st, you're now eligible to take a driving skills test to qualify for an intermediate operators license.

It's a big deal for teenagers because although most restrictions are still in place, the intermediate license no longer requires an adult be in the car.

The teenagers have to past a new test and could not have gotten a ticket with their learner's permit.
