State Teaming Up With MySpace

The website MySpace.com is helping law enforcement monitor internet communications.
The attorney general's office made the announcement at the State Capitol Rotunda today.
Kentucky recently passed a law requiring registered sex offenders to supply their email addresses to law enforcement.
MySpace's Chief Security Officer says the website will block any registered sex offenders from using it.
Officials hope to have the new system up and running by June.
They say any offender who tries to skirt the system and apply to MySpace under a different name will be reported to police.
Kentucky is the first state to enact sex offender laws that extend to the internet.
