Negotiations to end a four day strike will continue in Lexington between the United Steelworkers Union and Appalachian Regional Healthcare.
Union presidents and officials with the United Steel Workers say they left Wednesday's nine hour talks disappointed but optimistic about Thursday.
They say they're still fighting for issues like pensions, wages, and medical insurance.
ARH officials say everyone has been working hard to negotiate a fair contract, and say they're hopeful an agreement can be reached.
Officials say they can't predict how long it might take to reach an agreement.
