After nearly four years and a change of venue, the high profile murder case against Billy Osborne finally went to trial Monday.
The Louisa man is charged with beating former Louisa City Councilman Elmer Frazier with a baseball bat.
Frazier stayed in a coma for 14 months before he died, and was never able to speak or name his killer.
Osborne's lawyer says a botched police investigation got the wrong man, but Frazier's relatives think police got it right.
Osborne's trial was moved to Paintsville and may last a few more days.
