MOREHEAD, Ky. (AP) - Six people in eastern Kentucky are in jail
today after being arrested as part of a drug sting by state and
The suspects are believed to have been involved in an elaborate
drug-trafficking program spread through parts of Rowan County near
Morehead. The arrests were made following an eight-month undercover
operation conduct by state and local authorities.
Most of the charges involved illegal sales of OxyContin,
Oxycodone, Morphine and cocaine.
Arrested were 26-year-old Joshua Brown, 40-year-old Jeffrey
Fraley, 25-year-old Erica Gardner, 19-year-old Erica Gibson,
32-year-old John Jones and 43-year-old Mitchell Robinson.
Thirteen other people suspected of operating in the drug ring
remain at large.
