A mistrial is declared in another eastern Kentucky murder case.
Billy Osborne was charged with beating former Louisa City Councilman Elmer Frazier with a baseball bat.
Frazier stayed in a coma for 14 months before he died and was never able to speak or name his killer.
The jury in Paintsville said they were hopelessly deadlocked after deliberations and the judge declared a mistrial.
