Man Wanted In Attempted Kidnapping

Police in Boyle County are searching for a man who tried to snatch a child.
It happened around 7:00pm Friday night at a home on Alum Springs Rd. The homeowner, Brian Whitehouse, told 27 NEWSFIRST three children were playing in the backyard when a man came out from the woods and tried to grab one of them. Whitehouse said when he saw the man he got his gun and fired a warning shot. The suspect took off running into the woods. Police say he may be wounded.
The children did not get a good look at the man. They just described him as a white man in a red hoodie.

I live on Alum Springs you think that I am safe! There was nothing in the newspaper about this! I think that there is something fishy about this!

Hats off to Brian Whitehouse... I hope you hit the man he would deserve no more.

Thank God for people who are allowed to own guns. If the gun control nuts had their way this man would not have had a gun and one or more children could be dead.

The attempted kidnapping on Alum Springs Rd in Danville really bothers me. My mother lives just down the road from where the incedent occured with my younger sisters. I hope the police are able to catch the man quickly. I just wonder if the man who tried to rob the Chill's gas station on Hustonville Rd today could be the same man. He was wearing a maroon hoodie, but most children do not distinguish between the different shades of red when descriibing them to someone in a stressful situation.

Has anyone noticed that the Hustonville Road Chill's store that was robbed was done by a white man in a red hoddie? This is the description of the man in the attempted Junction City kidnapping. These two locations are less than 10 minutes apart and they both happened in a short time frame.
