Plant Evacuated After Reports of Armed Intruder

Some very tense moments overnight at a Lexington business, when word spread that an armed intruder had entered the building. It happened at the Webasto Plant on Innovation Drive.

Police say a man came to the plant to visit his sister just before midnight.
Somehow, a rumor started that the man had a gun. Workers were moved from the plant to a safe location.

Police came out to investigate and determined everything was safe.

Operations are back to normal.

No charges are being filed in the case.
