Murdered Magoffin County Mother's Family Fears Injustice

A Magoffin county family is speaking out, saying they fear they will never see justice for a murdered young mother.

Brandy Rowe went missing right before Christmas. Crews finally found her body in a Breathitt county creek a month later. This past week a grand jury indicted some of the people police think were involved in her murder.

But Rowe's family says they're worried Brandy's killers won't be brought to justice when the case finally goes to trial. The family says they will ask for a change of venue.

I am truly sorry for the family of Brandy. The two little children left behind and the mother who lost her daughter I pray God is with them. Hopefully Justice will be served and the people who did this will get what is coming to them. No one no matter what they have done deserve to die the death that Brandy did. Her life is over now and no one can do her any harm anymore. God rest her soul and comfort the family.

I truly feel for the mother of brandi and the two little children left behind. Everyone makes mistakes in life as I'm sure Brandi did. That doesn't give anyone the right to take her life because of it. I have lived in Magoffin County all my life and the one thing I know is that if you don't have money or the right connections you don't have a chance. I do think that the trail needs to be moved out of the county because of this. God be with the mother of Brandi and her children.

The families and prosecutors need to be cautious about having a quick trial. I realize that everyone wants the killer(s) brought to justice. The ones responsible should have justice meted out to them that is equivalent to the crime. But rushing to judgement is not always the smartest thing. It is important that the prosecutors build a good case against those accused before they rush off to court. If they are acquitted because of inept or unprepared prosecutors, you cannot try them again for the same crime. That's double jeopardy. Be patient. Pray for the family to have strength to endure the process.

i think there was enough evidence reported on the news to convict these people they were there and admitted that so they need to get the death sentence these babies will have to grow up without a mom i have lost family to the hands of a Murderer and i know what this family is going through please show that JUSTICE WILL PREVEIL!!!! my prayers are with you

The way i see it is, she was out doing pot and drinking with these people... Where were the kids? They will be better off without her, hopefully they get fostered and placed with loving parents who aren't drug addicts who sleep around. Thats the problem with people in eastern kentucky, no one wants to take responsibility. She was a parent she shouldnt have been doing those things, she had someone else to watch out for and didnt... screw her, her kids are better off
