Construction On Busy Road Slows Down Weekend Traffic

If your travels take you down U.S. 27 on the weekends, you may want to find an alternate route.
Crews will be replacing concrete on both sides of U.S. 27 between Nicholasville and Lexington for the next four weekends.
Workers got started this past weekend, and it was slow going for many drivers headed to and from Lexington.
Officials are reminding drivers to stay within the speed limit in the construction zone to avoid getting a double fine.
