Grocery Store Chain Is Raising Money For Virginia Tech

A local grocery store chain is making it easy for everyone to help the families who lost a loved one in the Virginia Tech massacre.

Food City is collecting money for the victim's families.

The store is selling ribbons in Virginia Tech colors for a one, five, or ten dollar donation.

All you have to do is ask the clerk at the register to add it to your grocery bill.

Managers say all of the money collected will go to the university which will distribute it to the families.

The company started the collection with $50,000-thousand of their own.

The collection runs through May 12th.
