Man Rescued From River Dies

A man rescued from an east Kentucky river dies in the hospital.

Police say William Neace was sent to the hospital after he and a friend, Garlan Hamblin, fell into the north fork of the Kentucky River in Hazard.

Hamblin was also sent the hospital, but police say he was released.

Police say the men got caught in the river's current while trying to get a boat out of the water.
