Student Injured In Bus Crash

A scary ride home from school for some Lexington students when their bus was involved in a crash.

It happened on Liberty Road near Henry Clay Boulevard. A car rear ended the bus full of students.

We're told at least one student was injured. The seventh grader hit her head. The child's mother took her to the hospital to be checked out.

The other students were loaded onto another bus to make the rest of the trip home.

You people need to get your facts straight. A car ran into the back of a school bus, it was not a CRASH. You make it sound worse than it was. You make it sound like riding a school bus is not safe. Riding a school bus is alot safer than walking or riding in a car and a heck of safer than riding on a LEXTRAN bus.
