The Bluegrass Prepares For Royal Visit

Along with all the Derby excitement, there's also a lot of commotion about Her Royal Majesty coming to town. Queen Elizabeth II is set to arrive at Blue Grass Airport on Friday.

The Queen's itinerary upon her arrival in the Bluegrass is being kept under wraps, but British flags are flying high at The Castle along Versailles Rd.

Queen Elizabeth will attend the Derby on Saturday. Churchill Downs has been busy preparing for the royal visit.
Workers were schooled in how to behave in the Queen's presence and security plans were reviewed.

The Queen will watch the race from a dining room in the track's
clubhouse which will offer a special meal, pre-approved by the Queen, which showcases Kentucky's unique flavor.

I heard that the Queen might be dining in MIdway in a fine dining restaurant off Main Street. Is this true? Might it be the Holly Hill Inn?
