She left almost as quickly as she came. The Queen of England ended her two day visit to the Bluegrass on Sunday. Her presence only added excitement to the 133rd running of the Kentucky Derby.
It was the 81 year old monarch's fifth visit to Kentucky in 23 years. She hasn't been to the United States in 16 years.
Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip will now stay at the White House. A state dinner will be held at the White House in the Queen's honor on Monday. Calvin Borel, the jockey who guided Street Sense to win the Kentucky Derby, is also invited to attend the dinner. The Queen will then head back to London on Tuesday.
