Massive Barn Fire Kills Dozens of Chickens

The fire broke out around five Monday afternoon, at the Taylor Farm on Clintonville Road in Clark County. That's not far from the Fayette County line.
A passerby on nearby Interstate 64 noticed the fire, and alerted authorities.
By the time firefighters arrived on the scene, smoke and flames were shooting into the air.
The barn housed many chickens, most of which the farm's owner says died in the fire.
The fire then spread to a nearby garage, which was also destroyed. A boat inside that garage was pulled away before the flames got to it.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The farm's owner thinks an incubator inside the barn likely caused the fire.
Crews from Clark, Fayette, and Bourbon Counties helped fight the flames.

These animals died quicker being burned or of smoke inhalation than they would have in a fighting ring. And then the stolen trucks!!! Shady, shady character. Curious if he had insurance on this loss?

Don's got it right. Don't waste any sympathy on Taylor. Check the archives for the stolen truck chops in these buildings. I lived about a mile from this place and the chickens are only for fighting and kept in little cages all over the front of his place.
