Why would anybody be stealing to feed their family? There are lots of other options, many of which I partially pay for. I will probably also help pay his medical bills for doing this and most certainly his food and board in the jail. A really good option to obtain money is called "work". The seemingly more popular option is called "government assistance" (that's me and you, folks!!). Stealing from anybody or any business is NOT an option and/or excuse and doing so should be judged harshly by society in hopes that it isn't accepted or excused at our expense.

Translating that old saying," If you play with matches, you might get burned." into "You get what you deserve."

This guy deserved it. Maybe copper thieves will think twice about trying to steal more, if they think this could happen.

The coppers finally caught a burgler. By the way the term "Coppers" originated in 1800's New York. The police used copper badges and buttons, hence coppers or cops.
