A mother in Johnson County is charged with child abuse after her kids were allegedly found living in raw sewage.
It happened in the Sitka community.
Sheriff's deputies say it was one of the filthiest homes they've ever seen.
They say there was raw sewage, trash, rats, and spoiled food in the home.
Officers removed four children, from age three to eight and arrested the mother, Misty Dawn May.
Officers say the children are now living with relatives.
