For many of you Saturday night was a communication crisis, but now that crisis appears to be over at least for most.
Long distance and internet services were restored around 10pm Saturday night across parts of eastern Kentucky after being down since early in the afternoon.
Windstream officials say vandals cut a copper cable in the Big Creek area of Clay County, which cut off landline long distance and internet services for more than three thousand people around the Hazard area.
The real danger left some emergency services feeling helpless.
Anyone with information about copper theft is urged to contact your local police.
