Bank Robbed at Gunpoint
The search is on for the man police say robbed a bank Monday.
It happened around 4 P.M. at the Whittaker Bank on Old Paris Pike in Lexington.
Police say the suspect walked up to the teller, pulled out a handgun, and demanded money.
He put some cash in a plastic bag, then took off.
Police say the suspect is a white man, possibly in his 40's or 50's, and was last seen wearing a surgical mask or bandanna over his face. He was also seen wearing a blue button-up shirt, and khaki pants.
Police are also looking to see if this robbery is related to recent robberies around the area.
