Lexington Actress Gets National Recognition

A Lexington native was recognized Tuesday morning with a Tony nomination.

Laura Bell Bundy was nominated for "best performance by a lead actress in a musical."

Bundy stars in the Broadway version of the hit movie, Legally Blonde.

Nominations were announced at the library at Lincoln Center in New York City. The Tony Awards will be broadcast June 10 beginning at eight on WKYT.

    Who cares? Not me! I care just as much as I do Ashley Judd getting recognition for receiving her degree from UK. It doesn't affect my daily life so why should I give a rat's patootie!
