Pregnant Woman Killed One Year Ago Wednesday

Wednesday marked the one year anniversary of a horrific accident that claimed the life of a young woman and her unborn child.

Stephanie Hufnagel was walking to work at Chase Bank when a concrete wall from a parking garage fell on her. She was eight months pregnant at the time.

Her death prompted inspections and changes at all area parking garage structures.

A wrongful death lawsuit filed by Hufnagel's husband, is still pending.
